its preparation method is to dissolve (±) cis-trans chrysanthemum acid in sodium hydroxide solution, and pass carbon dioxide at room temperature. due to the different ionization constants of cis-trans chrysanthemum acid, trans chrysanthemum acid precipitates into crystallization, while cis chrysanthemum acid remains in the solution. after filtering to remove trans chrysanthemum acid, acidify the remaining liquid and recrystallize to obtain (±) cis chrysanthemum acid.
